BSTRD BOOTS & $mall Change present...a tasty little 7” nugget

World famous/criminally slept on  uber selectah $mall Change comes up with 2  obscuro Stevie-related tunes for the open minded dancefloor. Breaks have been extended, drums added, but time has been taken to preserve the original tracks, adding some  touches to make them a lil’ more DJ friendly. Raw. Rare.

“Steviano Italiano” has Little Stevie Wonder (well, maybe Adolescent Stevie Wonder at this point), circa 68, cutting a monster tune, singing in Italian of all things. Motown trying to get in with the mob or something.  Free pizza at the  office.  Whatever the original marketing plan, we’re left with some nice open drums that have been somewhat severely chopped for your booty shaking pleasure, horn stabs, the whole nine.  Already getting high remarks  (and we do mean HIGH) from motherfuckers like Steinski, Monk One, Karl Injex, etc, etc¦

“Nuff Man Live Fi Jah City” is, for the patois confused, a reggae version of “Living for the City”, OG by JA singer Pat Rhoden. $mall Change teamed up with Bastard honcho DJ DRM for a tasty subtle re-lick on an already bangin’ original, adding some light filtering and extended intros/middles for mixing in & out of your sets, a nice subtle bass kick  throughout, echoed touches here and there, and some words fome Stevie himself dubbed out in the break.

You probably don’t have either of these originals.  Now you have some sick re-edits. Go destroy some floors tonight and thank us in the morning.
