The debut release is an outing by Menahan Street Band, a loose collaboration of Daptone Family friends and musicians from groups like the Dap-Kings, the Budos Band, and El Michels Affair, all of whom were happy to pop into Tommy¹s bedroom to cut a few sides between the barbacueing and carousing with which they filled the better part of their sweaty Bushwick summer afternoons.
