Andres BucciI is back on Kupei! Hailing from Santiago de Chile – Andrés Bucci (along with his brother Pier, Luciano, Ricardo
Villalobos and Dandy Jack) is one of the forefront figures of the thriving Chilean electronic music scene. He has worked with
some of the finest producers, including techno luminaries The Black Dog, while introducing electro to Chilean audiences.
This EP pairs him with Perlon’s comeback kid Dandy Jack on remix duties. It is a strong follow-up to his 2005 criticallyacclaimed
EP "Don Julio's Converseria" with brother Pier Bucci (on Canadian label Cynosure). It also marks Andres’ third
release for Kupei, upholding a steady output of distinctive quality music started with “Hello Donee” (as Detalles).
"Chocopanda” presents us with two playful minimal techno offerings: "Get Down" and "Sentinel." Both tracks are bouncy 4/4
techno stripped-down with glitchy sounds, short melodic elements and tiny rhythmic patterns. Dandy Jack’s B-side remake of
“Get Down” takes us to the harder side of techno, macro sort of speak – his track is heavier and more intense, with a hard kick drum stomp that can workout the crowd while keeping the minimal aesthetic he is known for.
