Following up their massive debut, Lets Pet Puppies returns with a two more tracks of straight up classic Chicago dancefloor mayhem from Marcus Mixx circa 1987.
T.A.P. (how shall I put this politely?) is nasty. You thought you were nasty? Sorry Charlie, nasty's over here. Marcus drops the vocal on this track that's either a precursor or the end point for ghetto tech, and most likely simply in a class by itself.
Psychousic is somewhere in between classic Robert Armani / Armando, and the best of the early Relief stuff. Can you say beat track? If your floor doesn't jack to this, you need a new one.
"Imagine a wasteland of buildings, destroyed by a single demo cassette. You dig beneath the rubble and you find it! The basement party that beat it so hard, it shook the earth. You find the cassette. You find the tape machine and miraculously the power's still on! So you do the only thing you CAN do in that situation....you beat it one more time."
-Gitano Camero, 1987
